Plan and Create the Project
- Define project types
- Establish security for project groups
- Design the cost and revenue tracking structure
- Understand the project lifecycle
- Learn the three project creation methods
- Implement compliance, bonding, and retention processes
Execute the Project
- Enter and approve project-related expenses; creation/modification of inquiry screens
- Ensure inventory movement from procurement to consumption
- Enter and approve equipment and personnel time spent on the project
- Document daily job site monitoring and its progress
- Ensure management of documentation, drawings, and photos
Monitor the Project
- Master the change management process, from issue identification to change order
- Review the budget, allocate it, and establish a budget baseline
- Use various budget monitoring tools
- Understand the calculation of work in progress
